School Governance and Staff

CCS Association

Our school is directed by a voluntary Association and a Board of Trustees. Members of the Association are those who have a child enrolled in the school and/or have paid Association dues and are in agreement with the Foundation and Purpose of the school. All members are expected to attend two stated meetings each year and participate in the organization’s activities on behalf of the school.

Board of Trustees

The CCS Board of Trustees comprising parents and other community leaders is the primary governing body of the school. Members are elected by the CCS Association. The Board appoints its own officers and is responsible for establishing policies, governing finances, offering staff contracts, and monitoring the overall direction of the school. Complete information is outlined in the CCS Constitution and By-Laws.

Organization Connection

We are a member of Christian Schools International http://www.CSIonline.org.  CSI is a nonprofit organization that has been serving schools in the U.S. and Canada since 1920.  CSI is committed to advancing Christian education and supports schools in their task of teaching students to know God and his world and to glorify him through obedient service.

Our Staff

Hiring godly, qualified teachers and administrators is crucial to fulfilling our mission as a school. We believe that teachers are servants of God who exercise responsible authority in assisting parents in the education of their children. Our staff must exemplify the highest Christian character as they reflect Christ’s love and encourage each child’s own obedient response to God. Additionally, our staff must meet all educational requirements as established by the State of Ohio and be certified (or certifiable) to teach in the area to which they have been assigned.
