Scholarships
Cornerstone Community School has established a scholarship fund with the intention that no child be kept from attending CCS because of financial constraints. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of financial need, the student’s prospective contribution to the mission of the school, the availability of scholarship funds and on the school’s desire to include within the student body children from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. Allocation of scholarship monies is the responsibility of the Scholarship Committee appointed by the Board of Trustees. Scholarship applications may be obtained from the school office and are due by April 30. After that date available scholarship funds are very limited All submitted applications are kept in the strictest confidence.
T.R.I. P. (Tuition Reduction Incentive Program)
How it works
The School Offers a tuition reduction program through which families purchase gift certificates for merchandise ranging from popular grocery stores, to restaurants, to home improvement stores. These certificates are discounted by the merchant at different percentages. 75% of the discount is applied to the family's tuition and subtracted from payments due the school twice a year. For the family each dollar spent purchases a dollar worth of merchandise plus the discount applied to tuition. It is possible to save hundreds of dollars per year off tuition by participating regularly in the program.
The program is not limited to school families. Anyone interested in Cornerstone may participate and designate a particular student as the tuition reduction recipient or designate that the amount goes into the Education Fund of Cornerstone Community School. For forms or more detail, please contact CCS at (330) 686-8900.
